Before they had performed the rite and summoned the ancient Demon Cardu, Sorcerers Michael and Vanessa had explored the house. In the basement they discovered what seemed to be like a dungeon. A cold, dark room underneath the house with no windows and only a few lights. All around the wall were shackles.
They had thought it may have been a prison many years before, but now the demon was released Michael understood its true purpose. Cardu had an appetite. An appetite that would be nearly impossible to fill. But Michael had to try, because as long as Cardu had something to feast on he would be safe. Being Cardu’s Butler was better than being his dinner, he decided.
